Showing a new install
« on: November 30, 2018, 08:25:20 PM »
This is my firs fully automatic vertical garden wall.

This install is a garden made in three walls with a fully automated system made with arduino, 9 soil-watch sensors, 9 eletrovalves, and a pumb as basic components, wirg a total of 834 plants and about 23 square meters.

Today we ha finished the first step, we have finished the placement of the felt bags, screwed on the wall, on a layer of plastic to avoid humidity.

In 48 hours we will finish the placement of irrigation pipes, microtubes and irrigation tips, and later all the electronic system. I will continue uploading photos.

Hi,

Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. I am really intrigued.
Where have you sourced these wall planters? Have you used it before? How long would that last on the wall?
The effect when all plants are planted must be amazing. Please post some more pictures.

Xenomm,

Thanks for the photos that you have shared which is very insightfull, and i appreciate use of these sensors.
I have Few questions, Hope you bear with me,
1)how do you considering the soil moisture and how are you relating with the amount of water content present in the soil?
2)How can you able to know that the plant has sufficeint water and any soil analysis and Soil water holding capacity was done before?
