Great! It will help a lot.
Everybody like colourful charts. At least I do!

I hope you have seen the other topic with calibration https://pino-tech.eu/forum/soilwatch-10/soilwatch10-(-3v)-and-soil-moisture-vol/ (https://pino-tech.eu/forum/soilwatch-10/soilwatch10-(-3v)-and-soil-moisture-vol/)

Thanks for sharing.

Hi,

Yes I see this topic.

I have two tipes of soil's in hand and two tipes of sensor too(soilwatch 10 and decagon 10hs).

I'll make the calibration using the method that decagon sugest. (http://www.decagon.com.br/assets/Videos/How-To/Calibrate_Soil.flv).

When i have the results i will post here.

Thanks

Hi,

i have done some calibrations with the sensor. I use two soil's from different pivot's(p04 is sand and p01 is sandy clay) with two depths(0-20cm and 20-40cm), so I have four samples of soil. I make a calibration for each one and a generic calibration for the tour tipes combined.

The X axis is milivolts and the Y is VWC %

Kalliandra,

Many thanks for the Graphs that you have shared with us.
I needed to know a few things,

Can you share me how you are measuring the VWC% of the Soil, can you please tell the method and the math that you are using to evaluate the VWC.

I sincerely thanks for the information you provided.
