Sensor in hand
« on: December 03, 2017, 04:05:29 PM »
Hello,

Congratulations for having delivered in time as promissed.

I find the sensors very well made. This is not a review as I only took the time to connect one and briefly test it in my hand.

My first impression is extremely good. They actually behave like the ines I purchase from a very well known US company where I bought some from. Buying your sensor was because I wanted a cheaper alternative.

I still need to test them in my application (simple comparision between a preset moisture level and the returned value from the sensor).

I believe that you made a very nice product.

In the letter that was sent with the sensors you wrote that you plan to introduce new versions soon. Is it too soon to let me know in what they will be different ?

My other question would be, where will these be available ?

I follow you on Facebook because I am interested in this interesting project.

Many thanks and best regards

Hi,

Thanks for the quick feedback on the product. We are glad it works as expected.

It's not too early to ask about the new version. The new version will be the same sensor but with 0-3V output range. Quite a few people asked about this.

It will be available on tindie.com. I will make an announcement when its ready.

Thanks

I am one of those who asked about the 3v output so I can only be happy about what I read above :-)
I will keep following the progress of this.

Thanks for the precisions.

I saw yesterday that the 0-3v output sensors are available. I ordered 3 of them. I will not use the 0-1v I had and use the new ones (0-3v) instead. These are direct replacement for the ones I used before yours were available.

Many thanks and good muck with your product.
